Rolex Rolex Submariner 5514

The Rolex Submariner was introduced in 1953 with the reference 6204 and was the first waterproof diver's watch in history. This model featured a stainless steel strap and a sturdy case that allowed it to be worn down to 100 meters. Its water resistant capability was later increased to 300 meters. Its unidirectional rotating bezel allows divers to track their dive times and decompression stops. Furthermore, the Rolex Submariner's glowing hands and markers make it easy to read even in deep water. The Rolex Submariner 5514 No-Date features a black dial with white markings and was made specifically for the Comex company and its divers. It was never commercialized by Rolex stores and dealers. Its distinctive feature is the COMEX logo on the dial and the attribution number on the bottom of the case.
