Rolex Rolex Submariner 6204

The Rolex Submariner was introduced in 1953 with the reference 6204 and was the first waterproof diver's watch in history. This model featured a stainless steel strap and a sturdy case that allowed it to be worn down to 100 meters. Its water resistant capability was later increased to 300 meters. Its unidirectional rotating bezel allows divers to track their dive times and decompression stops. Furthermore, the Rolex Submariner's glowing hands and markers make it easy to read even in deep water. The Rolex Submariner 6204 No-Date has a black lacquered dial. It is water resistant to 100 meters, and its winding crown is smaller than previous models (5.3 mm). It has " Mercedes " type hands. The water-resistance information is not displayed on the dial. The first Submariner models without a winding crown protection are called " James Bond ". The " SWISS " marking is at 6 o'clock.
