Rolex Rolex Submariner 6538

The Rolex Submariner was introduced in 1953 with the reference 6204 and was the first waterproof diver's watch in history. This model featured a stainless steel strap and a sturdy case that allowed it to be worn down to 100 meters. Its water resistant capability was later increased to 300 meters. Its unidirectional rotating bezel allows divers to track their dive times and decompression stops. Furthermore, the Rolex Submariner's glowing hands and markers make it easy to read even in deep water. The Rolex Submariner 6538 No-Date is also called the "Coroncione" (large crown in Italian) because of its large 8 mm diameter winding crown. The first models had a red triangle on the bezel at 12 o'clock, which was later replaced by the classic white triangle, which is more visible underwater. This model has "Mercedes" type hands and the seconds hand is " Lollipop" (with a larger luminescent disc). The dial can either have 2 or 4 lines (with the COSC certification).
