Description
The Rolex Submariner was introduced in 1953 with the reference 6204 and was the first waterproof diver's watch in history. This model featured a stainless steel strap and a sturdy case that allowed it to be worn down to 100 meters. Its water resistant capability was later increased to 300 meters. Its unidirectional rotating bezel allows divers to track their dive times and decompression stops. Furthermore, the Rolex Submariner's glowing hands and markers make it easy to read even in deep water. The Rolex Submariner 16610 features a graduated rotating bezel to check decompression times. This sapphire crystal model is equipped with an automatic 3135 caliber and is water resistant up to 300 meters. The letter "T" in the 16610T reference indicates that the lug holes are full (not drilled).
