Rolex Rolex Submariner 5512

The Rolex Submariner was introduced in 1953 with the reference 6204 and was the first waterproof diver's watch in history. This model featured a stainless steel strap and a sturdy case that allowed it to be worn down to 100 meters. Its water resistant capability was later increased to 300 meters. Its unidirectional rotating bezel allows divers to track their dive times and decompression stops. Furthermore, the Rolex Submariner's glowing hands and markers make it easy to read even in deep water. The size of the case of the Rolex Submariner 5512 No-Date increases from 37 mm to 40 mm. The dial is black and the markings are in gold. Models produced from 1967 onwards are also called Steve McQueen. The water resistance increases to 200 meters compared to previous models.
